We at Litcast of Doom absolutely LOVE IT when authors or publishers reach out to us! (Trust me, I get giddy like a cat with tinfoil.) However, because of the weird little niche we’ve made for ourselves, we’ve got nice, cool REVIEW POLICY!
WE WILL ACCEPT:
– Print AND ebook copies (.mobi if you have ’em!)
– SCIENCE-FICTION AND FANTASY please! If it falls in the realms of speculative fiction, we’ll take it! If you think your book’s in a grey area, feel free to ask about it!
– Both adult AND young adult books!
– Bonus points for QUEER LIT (LoD is run by a queer enby and would LOVE to review your book! We’re all about #ownvoices here folks!)
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT:
– Anything that does not really fall into speculative fiction (though I’m sure there are quite a few other blogs that would love to hear from you!)
– Anything MIDDLE GRADE OR LOWER!
– Anything glorifying abuse, assault, or violence (sexual or otherwise) against minorities
– Anything glorifying MENTAL ILLNESS
– Please, pretty pretty please, let me know if you kill off the dog. Or the cat. Any pets, really. I’m soft.
HOW TO REACH ME:
– Scream into the void
– Tie your novel to your local crow (if none can be found, a raven is fine) and it will find me

YOU CAN EXPECT:
– A response within 2-3 days on whether or not I will review your book. I have a loose-ish TBR pile and I’m always game to change it up.
– 99.9999% guarantee that I will record a review for the podcast
– 100% will leave a Goodreads or Amazon review
– A PROMISE that no review will be malicious
– A timeline as to when you expect a review – probably within 2-6 weeks of receiving the book, due to my varied reading speed and previous engagements, like my day job.
– If you’re giving me an advance copy that you would like reviewed in time for the publication date, please keep the cushion in mind! I’d love at least 3 weeks’ time to work with, but more would be wonderful!
